Skype have recently updated their mobile client for Symbian^3. Version 1.5 (1.5.0.16) only supports the Nokia N8 and the Nokia C7, and this version doesn’t introduce any new features, but it does feature an important problem; the previous client had a habit of crashing when using the client in landscape mode, so it’s well worth an update. If you aren’t already using v1.5, this was released back in December 2010 and offers Symbian users access to Skype‘s SILK audio codec, as well as an improved user interface, support for multi-part SMS, and addressbook integration for contact search.
